KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL - The space shuttle Atlantis was rolled out of the Vehicle Assembly Building this morning and moved to launch pad 39-A in preparation for its May 12 launch on the final servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. Perched atop its mobile launch platform and giant crawler-transporter, the shuttle began its move at 3:54 a.m. EST and was hard down on the launch pad about seven hours later.
