WALLOPS ISLAND, VA - Launch of an Orbital Sciences Minotaur 1 rocket was postponed today when heavy rains and clouds forced a scrub of the launch attempt. The countdown was halted at T-minus one hour, fort-five minutes while the launch team waited to see if the weather would clear enough for the reconnaissance aircraft to take off. When it launches, the solid fueled light-lift Minotaur expendable launch vehicle will carry an array of experimental payloads, including TacSat-3 and ParmaSat-1.
